Please read the information below as it may affect your Gilweroo 2019 experience

This page contains the latest information for Gilweroo 2019. This is current as at 12/Nov/2019.

Fires

Fires are permitted in fire drums, so long as someone is in attendance at all times, there is access to water to put it out and it's out before everyone goes to bed.

Country Scout Groups

Country based Scout Groups that have over 2 hours of travel to return home need to attend a special meeting to be held at HQ at 1pm on Saturday afternoon to discuss possible early departure on Sunday.

Registration for Gilweroo 2019

Scouts: Registration for scouts has closed

Venturers: Venturer registration is still open, see instructions on this page

Leaders: Register at the Event Online Booking System.

Adult Helpers: It may be too late, unless you are a registered member of the Scout Association, in which case use the Independent Leader registration at Event Online Booking System

Dropping off and Picking up Gear/People

Friday Night: Vehicles are allowed into the Park on Friday night to drop off trailers, gear and people provided they have been pre-registered on the Gilweroo Service Desk. They must be removed to our OffSite Car Park at 31 Old Moorooduc Road as soon as equipment has been unloaded. If drivers wish to help with campsite setup, cars must be removed first.

Saturday: Only authorised vehicles are allowed inside the park.

Sunday Afternoon: Gates will be opened no later than 4pm for vehicles to enter to collect equipment and people. Again, they should be pre-registered on the Gilweroo Service Desk.

Permission Forms

Permission forms are obtained via CareMonkey.

Special Activities Permission Form: When a scout is registered for Gilweroo, overnight CareMonkey will send an invitation to the scout's parents to obtain permission for the Gilweroo Special Activities. All scouts attending must have this eForm approved.

Air Rifle Permission Form: When a 12yo or over scout is registered in an Omega Patrol, overnight CareMonkey will send an invitation to the scout's parents to obtain permission for the Air Rifle Activity. All scouts qualifying scouts must have this eForm approved before they can participate in Air Rifles.

No eForm? If a scout's parents have not received these communications from Care Monkey they should contact their Scout Leader immediately, who, in turn, should contact admin@gilweroo.com.au.
